Palazzo Litta
Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council created an immersive experience combining Emirati Craft and Emirati Flora, within the Palazzo Litta. The visitor’s journey began from the Main Court, through the Ground Floor room and into its Courtyard Space for a true cultural exchange between the Milanese and the Emirati cultures at the Ministry of Culture.
The layout of the space is a combination of Craft x Flora immersive pockets found in indoor niches, and outdoor open spaces, bringing together the Crafts of Safeefah palm frond and camel leather weaving, Cotton silk hand dyeing and weaving, Talli cotton thread and metallic thread weaving, Vegetal Leather molding, Stone Inlay, Marquetry, Woodworks, Glass blowing, and Clay building.
